Our Privacy Commitment
Online JSON Validator is designed from the ground up to protect your privacy. **We do not upload, transmit, save, or store any JSON inputs, text, files, or converted payloads.** All operations take place strictly within your local browser sandbox.
1. Data Processing
When you paste or type JSON data into our validator, minifier, or format converters:
- The data is processed locally inside your web browser using client-side JavaScript APIs.
- No web service requests containing your data are sent to our servers.
- The conversion, validation, and minification operations are completely offline-capable once the website assets are loaded.
2. Local Storage Usage
We use standard browser `localStorage` variables to store configuration preferences to improve your user experience:
- Theme Preferences: Saving whether you prefer Light or Dark mode.
- Editor Preferences: Retaining your latest UI choice (e.g., Tree view or Text editor layout) so it persists when you refresh the page.
You can clear these preferences at any time by clearing your browser cache or site data.
3. Hosting and Server Logging
Our website assets are hosted on public edge hosting networks (e.g., Vercel, Netlify, or similar CDN networks). When you access the website, the hosting network servers automatically log standard network request metadata (such as IP addresses, user-agents, and requesting timestamp) to serve static assets and optimize page delivery. These server logs are managed in accordance with the host's standard compliance policies and do not include any interactive data input by you in the text areas.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Google Fonts to render typography elements like Inter and JetBrains Mono. When your browser renders pages, it fetches font files directly from Google Font servers, which may collect standard browser requesting metadata to compile anonymous service usage metrics.
5. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy as our utility tools expand. However, our core privacy principle will never change: **your data inputs will always remain 100% local and client-side.**
